Housekeeping

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all areas are kept clean, organized, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining various surfaces and areas.
• Execute commercial cleaning tasks such as floor care, carpet cleaning, and restroom sanitation.
• Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and presentable.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all health regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards on a regular schedule.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service in all interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Janitorial: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Norfolk, VA 23505 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Norfolk, VA 23505: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
