What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Service Writer position at Karsten's Tire & Auto?
Karsten’s Tire & Auto is a full-service automotive, tire and towing shop. We have a 2-bay quick lube, tire sales floor, customer waiting area, and 11-bay shop. We currently employ about 15 employees full-time; service writers, mechanics and general service technicians. We have experienced a lot of growth year-over-year and plan to keep it that way. We offer employee discounts, family discounts, tool programs, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, 401k, etc.
We’re looking for a candidate from entry level to experienced level. We will train and help you grow your career in automotive service writing. Pay is based on experience and give out raises based on performance.
The owner of the business and our General Manager are very involved in employee development. We’re most interested in candidates that want a career in this field, whether that be leadership, mechanics, parts management, service writing, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
