Key Responsibilities
- Make apartment units ready for new tenants, which includes drywall repair and painting, general repairs, preventative maintenance, and cleaning.
- Diagnose and perform in unit repairs in areas of HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical, hardware and drywall.
- Respond to and complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform daily grounds upkeep to maintain the physical appearance of the community and inspect for damage.
- Provide professional, genuine service and maintain positive relationships with residents, guests, vendors, and co-workers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space, including the maintenance shop and storage areas.
- Perform regular maintenance and make necessary repairs to tools and equipment.
- Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies.
- Perform sidewalk, breezeway and other necessary snow and ice removal.
- Participate in special on-site capital improvement projects.
- Understand and comply with Fair Housing Laws.
- Participate in training programs as required.
- Comply with all applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
