Job Title: Arts Teacher
Karter Schools is seeking a dynamic and passionate Performing Arts Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood music education and performance-based lessons for various age groups.
Work Hours:
- 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Planning and Execution:
- Plan and organize musical events throughout the school year, includin
- Thanksgiving songs,
- winter concerts,
- valentine's music showcase,
- spring music showcase, end-of-the-year graduation concerts,
- school-age musicals for summer camp
- Coordinate 2-3 school-age musical programs during the school year, each lasting 30 minutes.
- Participate in music showcases at community events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, Music Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching performing arts to early childhood and school-age children.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Creativity in developing engaging and age-appropriate musical programs.
