What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher position at Karter Schools?

Duties Performed but not limited to:
- Assist children both physically and developmentally with the transition of multiple programs and in different spaces throughout the facility.
- Assess/help assess children and recognize developmental goals and milestones and communicate those to parents.
- Responsible for all aspects of care for children enrolled in our school and upholding Karter School’s policies and philosophy.
- Facilitate engaging activities that foster a love of learning for each child.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- BA Degree in Childhood Education or a closely related field / CDA
- Passion for teaching and working with children in group settings and individually
- Excellent customer service skills in person and on the phone
- Comfortable with the team-based work structure
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Initiative, conscientiousness, and comprehensive follow-through in areas of responsibility
- Excellent health and agility to perform job responsibilities of a teacher of young children
- Ability to consistently model superior teaching and caregiving skills
