Karter School of Ashburn is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team on a part-time/on-call basis. The ideal candidate will provide expert behavioral analysis services to our young learners and assist with the filing of necessary applications and documentation for compliance and program development. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to collaborate with a passionate team committed to the success of children ages 2-6.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for children.
- Provide on-call support for urgent behavioral needs, responding promptly to requests from the team.
- Collaborate with the team to implement and monitor behavior intervention plans.
- Train staff on behavior management strategies and the implementation of BIPs.
- Assist with the application process for programs and services, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Provide feedback and support to parents and staff as needed regarding behavior management techniques.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to behavior analysis and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with children, particularly those in early childhood or with developmental delays, is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to respond to on-call needs and adapt to changing schedules.
- Passion for working with young children and a commitment to enhancing their developmental success.
