Karval School District is searching for a highly motivated, organized, and passionate teacher to serve as the middle school and high school English Language Arts teacher for the district. The candidate should hold a valid Colorado educator's license or be willing to enroll in an alternative licensure program upon hire. This position is responsible for instructing junior high (6th-8th grade) and high school students in core English curriculum. Our class sizes typically range from 2-6 students. Because Karval school is a small system, staff are expected to wear different hats and teach students from a wide repertoire. As such, flexibility and problem-solving skills are desirable. The secondary teachers cooperate and work as a team so this teacher would be expected to be a contributor in Impact Team work, assessments administration, and other supportive functions in the district. Being a team player and having a respectful, professional demeanor are musts.
Responsibilities

Karval school has 4-day work weeks, engaged and supportive families, and a tight-knit community. Pay ranges from $36,000-$53,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
