Kasai North America, Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing repetitive assembly operations on various automotive components.
About the Role
This is a key role within our production department, and we are looking for a motivated individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Perform assembly tasks on various automotive components, including parts such as trim components and assemblies.
- Inspect each component to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Operate and maintain machines such as KPM press, inspection mold, welders, robots, forklifts, hoists, and cranes to perform material movement.
- May be assigned to different work situations, lines, or departments as production needs require.
- Responsible for meeting established quality and production quantity levels and maintaining preventative maintenance, housekeeping and safe work practices.
Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma preferred.
- Ability to discern color, essential for certain positions.
- Must be able to work any assigned shift and be able to work overtime on short notice.
- Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
