Job Summary
A Technician position is available to perform repetitive departmental assembly operations or live assembly operations for mass producing automobile interior trim components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts in specified relationships, inspecting each component, and fastening them together by hand or using hand tools or powered tools. May operate and maintain various machines, including the KPM press, inspection mold, welders, robots, forklifts, hoists, and cranes.
- Perform tasks in different work situations, lines, or departments based on production needs. Meet established quality and production quantity levels while maintaining preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
- May drive a tow motor as assigned.
- Work any assigned shift and be prepared to work overtime on short notice.
- Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Requirements:
- GED or High School Diploma preferred.
Training Provided:
- Forklift Driving Classes (for Tow Motor Drivers Only).
