What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Aide position at Kasey Paige Assisted Living, LLC?
Kasey Paige Assisted Living is currently looking to hire a reliable, out going, caring, detail oriented, hands on Activity Aide that will setup daily activities for our residents.
Duties:
- Assist residents to, from and with activities to enable maximum participation.
- Record activity attendance and participation in both group and individual programs.
- Lead assigned groups and individual activities.
- Coordinate arts and crafts program for all levels of residents.
- Review resident activity care plan and assist in providing activities consistent with the plan.
- Assist in seasonal and holiday decorating of facility.
- Provide each resident with a current activity calendar.
- Assist in maintaining an on-going program for resident birthday recognition.
- Participate in community outings and special events as requested.
- Report resident incidents and accidents to the DON immediately.
Qualifications
- Possess a high school Diploma or GED.
- Must have the ability to recognize and have concern for the participants’ needs, and the willingness to perform suitable services which are appropriate.
- Must have exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills and Microsoft efficient
- Fun high energy
- Must be able to arrive to work timely and as scheduled.
Job Type/ Pay : Full-time $11.00 hour
Monday-Friday, Every other weekend, Holidays
