Key Responsibilities:
- Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payments.
- Monitor and maintain a portfolio of overdue accounts to track progress and set collection priorities.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers while considering the company's policies and financial goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and actions taken in the collections process.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debts.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries or disputes related to billing, payments, and account discrepancies.
- Provide regular updates on collections status and report on progress to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with collections software and tools is a plus.
- Ability to handle challenging conversations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
