We are currently seeking a Collections Analyst to join our team in Red Bank, NJ. As a crucial member of our team, you'll engage with clients, master the art of negotiation to establish payment plans, and ensure adherence to debt collection regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payments.
  • Monitor and maintain a portfolio of overdue accounts to track progress and set collection priorities.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers while considering the company's policies and financial goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and actions taken in the collections process.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debts.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries or disputes related to billing, payments, and account discrepancies.
  • Provide regular updates on collections status and report on progress to management.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
    • 1-3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Experience with collections software and tools is a plus.
    • Ability to handle challenging conversations and resolve conflicts effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
