Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Test Technician Level 3 to join our team! This role involves testing and troubleshooting Sensia Electronic Assemblies down to the board and component level, as well as serving as the primary liaison with customers and engineers during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Test and troubleshoot digital and analog circuits down to the component level.
✔ Read and interpret technical documentation, wiring charts, and operating instructions.
✔ Perform soldering, wiring, and assembly of electronic components.
✔ Identify and resolve material shortages in collaboration with the materials group.
✔ Document and correct deficiencies found during testing.
✔ Act as the primary Manufacturing liaison during customer-witnessed FAT sessions.
✔ Work in a team-oriented environment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Must-Have Qualifications:
✅ Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience/certification.
✅ Strong troubleshooting skills in digital and analog circuits.
✅ Ability to read technical documentation, drawings, and wiring charts.
✅ Excellent soldering & wiring skills.
✅ Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
✅ Detail-oriented, organized, and safety-conscious.
✅ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
✅ Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently.
✅ Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
✔ Experience with technical drawings, procedures, and bills of materials.
✔ Ability to design and implement circuit changes for obsolete components.
✔ Experience with test fixture design and implementation.
✔ Ability to create and manage schedules based on production needs.
✔ Proficiency in database tracking for test data storage & retrieval.
✔ Experience in procurement of tools for efficient assembly and testing.
