Roles and Responsibilities :
The Salesforce CPQ Technical Architect will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, CPQ processes, and integration techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, enterprise architecture knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- 15 years of experience in Salesforce.com (SFDC) systems implementation and at least 2 Salesforce - CPQ end to end design and implementation experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations and technology implementation of full lifecycle enterprise projects
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Salesforce CPQ or any other CPQ. Should provide in-depth subject matter expertise in CPQ & related domain areas.
- Telecommunications Industry experience is required.
- Lead end-to-end architectural design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, with a focus on seamless integration with CPQ systems.
- Provide expertise and guidance on Salesforce and CPQ integration strategies and patterns, including recommending best practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Extensive background in designing architectural solutions for large complex programs on salesforce platforms
- Must have good Solution Architecture experience in Lead to Quote process, in building CPQ Integrations with other Telecom OSS / BSS products such as CRM, DocuSign, Billing and Order Management products
- Design and implement complex data models, ensuring data integrity and scalability through regular architecture reviews and optimization of Salesforce-CPQ data interactions.
- Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts and how they influence design
- Evaluation of Salesforce.com with 3rd party solutions
- Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Salesforce.com Certifications (Sales cloud / CPQ Specialist / Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application Architect preferable)
- Ability to lead, manage and review technical activities of team and be hand on when needed
- Lead technical discussions and provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices.
- Act as an escalation point for all technical issues related to overall project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management
