Mandatory Skill:
Overall 8 years of hands-on experience, with 5 years of RSL development experience Write Geneva reports (RSLs / SSRS) and work on Geneva s development projects Support Geneva Issues via possible development and support Sound foundation of financial terminology. Knowledge of equity, bond, swap & bank loan is definite plus. Good understanding of Portfolio Accounting fundamentals, PNL, Taxlot, Trail Balance, Cas Ledger etc. Problem identification, impact analysis, and resolving with the relevant solution Escalate, coordinate and follow up relevant issues to the next level as required Root cause analysis of issues and fix problems Maintain version control using GIT Mandatory to have knowledge in Geneva, RSL, SQL Knowledge of Python, .Net will be added advantage Excellent communication skills Keen to learn, positive attitude, team player, innovative Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Other Required Qualifications
Should be able to perform independently with minimum support, should be able to support multiple modules at the same time and should be a task master. Excellent Communication skills and must be able to conduct him/herself independently, foster great relationship with the team members.
Job Duties
Leads and contributes in defining, documenting and developing software, software applications, as well as participates in architecture and technical design discussions, code reviews and technical design/specifications Responsible for development, enhancement, testing, support, maintain and troubleshoot/ debug software applications that support business units or support functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Creates thorough, professional quality project documentation and technical specifications Evaluates software change requests, determines business need or conducts root cause analysis, and implements technically efficient solutions Assesses the impact of software changes and new development on other systems; conducts integration tests to mitigate risks Mentors peers and junior team members, and participates in and promotes a knowledge-sharing environment Proactively recommends, schedules, and performs software improvements and upgrades Recommends best practices and policies for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting end user access and usage of database applications Participates and lead critical projects, customer engagements or business processes. Provides design and documentation at an application or function capability level. Participates in establishing and maintaining application standards and processes
