- Plan and initiate information technology (IT) projects.
- Guide the work of technical staff.
- Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects for IT projects.
- Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
- Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Assess current or future customer needs and priorities by communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or other methods.
- Partner with external ERP consultants to perform detailed gap analyses, contributing to a robust migration strategy.
- Drive the project forward by managing timelines, resources, and budgets to assure successful ERP implementation.
- Create and oversee exhaustive project documentation, such as requirements assessments and performance KPIs.
- Champion continuous improvement and system optimization post-migration, as well as leading ERP aspects of future acquisitions.
- Implement and manage financial and accounting functionalities within ERP systems to ensure accurate consolidation of financial statements from multiple subsidiaries into a parent company.
- This includes overcoming technical challenges related to database architecture differences, facilitating ETL processes, and employing hub-and-spoke models for efficient data integration and reporting.
- Leverage advanced business intelligence and analytics tools to extract, analyze, and interpret cross-subsidiary, cross-platform financial data.
Education: Requires bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field and 2 years' experience in the job offered, or related.2 years must also include experience with
(1) ERP architecture, implementation, or relevant project management,
(2) Global Shop Solutions or similar ERP system,
(3) Financial and accounting concepts and their integration within ERP functionality and reporting, and
(4) Leveraging business intelligence (BI) tools for data extraction and distribution.
