The ideal Janitor candidate will have hands-on experience in cleaning, maintenance, and general janitorial tasks.
Janitor Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Janitor or in a similar cleaning role
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable and organized, with excellent time management skills
Janitor Responsibilities:
- Perform daily Janitor tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a clean and safe warehouse
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked and ready for use
- Empty trash and recycling bins and manage proper waste disposal
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and high-touch areas for a polished and hygienic workspace
- Address spills, stains, and other cleaning needs promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with cleaning standards
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs in the warehouse
