This is a 6 months contract (no relocation)
Note: Workday Payroll Certification is mandatory!
Experience: 6 years (preferably 8 years) with 2 Workday implementation projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Workday Configuration and Optimization:
- Configure and optimize Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, and other related functionalities to align with business requirements.
- System Implementation:
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of new systems or processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements while ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze current business workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Build custom reports and dashboards in Workday to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system configurations, ensuring updates meet business needs and requirements.
- Production Support:
- Provide ongoing production support for Workday Payroll, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams, fostering clear communication and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Documentation:
- Create detailed functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and other project documentation to support execution and future reference.
Qualifications
- Mandatory Certification: Workday Payroll Certification.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Workday Functional Consultant, with expertise in Payroll.
- Proven experience in at least two Workday implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM and Payroll functionalities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing workflows and system functionality.
- Experience in building custom Workday reports and dashboards.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across multiple levels.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of other Workday modules is a plus.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience working in diverse industry environments.
Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
