Job Title : Data Center Technician
Location : Louisville, KY(Onsite Day 1)
Work Mode : Contract
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work in a data centre with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Wear appropriate clothing as suggested by the DCIM team.
- Lift and carry equipment up to 20 kg (50 pounds).
- Work in a shift pattern of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Wednesday to Sunday, as applicable based on the shift rota.
- Participate in an on call rota covering 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Wednesday to Sunday, and all day Monday and Tuesday based on the agreed rota.
- L1/L2 level networking knowledge and experience working in a data centre environment.
- Current knowledge of data centre best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , CCNA.
- Experience working with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Technical understanding of DC architecture, infrastructure, and service management.
- Experience with packet analysis.
- Ability to quickly analyse, diagnose, and resolve technical operational incidents.
- Customer first delivery mindset, with a focus on maintaining service uptime and performance.
