ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deal with customers on a day-to-day basis.
- Perform policy changes and reviews.
- Answer policy questions.
- Ensures proper procedures are used regarding formulation of administrative roles and setting up files in compliance with company standards.
- Maintains contact and professional relationship with client so that appropriate coverages are in force and to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
- Tracks and reports on the status of all proposals, policies, and clients.
- Help clients with claims processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Some college preferred but not required
· Successful candidate must meet the state insurance department’s requirements and have Property and Casualty License with a commercial insurance focus.
EXPERIENCE:
· 1-2 years insurance experience required
· Established book of business a plus but not required
OTHER JOB RELATED REQUIREMENTS:
· Must demonstrate sales aptitude, including strong persuasive abilities to influence and achieve desired outcomes.
· Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
· Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
· Must have strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Must have advanced computer and word processing capabilities with emphasis on Microsoft Office
