As Director of Integration, you’ll lead a newly formed, high-impact team focused on delivering seamless hardware and software integrations for our customers. This role bridges engineering, customers, customer vendors and our internal operations teams—ensuring we consistently meet customer needs without burdening the core product teams.
You’ll manage a cross-functional group responsible for integrating with third-party systems, supporting SDK implementations, and solving complex customer-specific challenges to make Kastle as best in class for integrated systems.

You’ll manage a cross-functional group responsible for integrating with third-party systems, supporting SDK implementations, and solving complex customer-specific challenges to make Kastle as best in class for integrated systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and Lead the Integration Team: Hire, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team including integration engineers, developers, and QA professionals (including offshore)
- Oversee End-to-End Integrations: Own all customer-specific integrations, spanning smart locks, HR systems, identity/authentication, IT security, and more.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Project Managers, Customer Vendors, Product Managers, Operations teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Influence Roadmap and Prioritization: Help engineering organization to balance strategic projects, customer needs, and quarterly objectives.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Partner with QA and compliance teams to validate integrations meet internal standards and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, GRC).
- Drive SDK Adoption: Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth implementation of Kastle’s SDKs in customer environments.
- Report on Success Metrics: Track and communicate team KPIs, project statuses, and integration health to stakeholders.
- 15 years of experience leading integration or solution engineering teams in a SaaS or IoT/Access Control environment
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems integration—both hardware and software preferably in physical security
- Technical background with hands-on experience in APIs, SDKs, cloud platforms, HR Systems and identity/authentication systems
- Experience with Agile development and working with offshore teams
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building scalable processes from the ground up
- Passion for customer success and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with smart lock systems (Assa Abloy, Schlage, SALTO,HID etc.), Video Surveillance & Security Systems, Smart elevators, Intercoms and authentication systems
- Experience with HRIS systems like Workday, BambooHR, or SAP
- Prior exposure to SIEM tools, firewall/network access control, or building automation systems
- Background in security, compliance, or audit/reporting solutions
