ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Lead Copywriter at Kat Burki Skincare will be responsible for developing and maintaining the brand’s unique, science-driven, and luxurious voice across all communication channels. Reporting to the Executive Director of Creative, this role will play a pivotal role in crafting intelligent, engaging, and results-driven content that reinforces the brand’s positioning as a leader in the luxury skincare category.


The Lead Copywriter will collaborate closely with internal teams—including marketing, eCommerce, creative, and product development—to ensure a cohesive tone of voice across digital platforms, product packaging, educational materials, and more. They will also take the lead in creating and refining copy for product benefits, clinical results, and customer testimonials, ensuring all content is as informative as it is elevated.


This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills who can seamlessly incorporate scientific insights and brand storytelling into high-impact content, from digital ads and emails to video scripts and product descriptions. The Lead Copywriter will also manage and refine internal processes to maintain accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all copy-related projects, playing a vital part in shaping how Kat Burki communicates with its customers and the wider skincare industry.


FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·     Define and Refine Brand Voice: Establish and maintain guidelines that reflect Kat Burki Skincare's science-driven,

  luxurious brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels.

·     Content Strategy Leadership: Ensure a cohesive tone of voice across all brand touchpoints, from product pages

to social media and beyond, by directly managing and refining internal content creation processes.

Campaign Concepting: Partner with the Executive Creative Director to develop unique, innovative campaigns and

brand moments, contributing fresh ideas and perspectives.

·     Create Engaging Content: Write intelligent, compelling, and educational copy for a range of materials, including

product descriptions, print and digital assets, video scripts, packaging, and visual merchandising.

·     Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Brand Marketing, eCommerce, Growth, and Retention teams to craft

high-performing, educational, and luxurious content for emails, websites, digital ads, blogs, and retail display

·   Focus on Science and Results: Highlight product benefits, clinical results, and customer testimonials in a way that

is both approachable and aspirational.

Proofread and Refine: Manage and review copy documents to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality

and accuracy.

·   Claims and Compliance: Collaborate with the legal team to ensure copy adheres to regulatory guidelines while

maintaining brand integrity.

·    Creative Guidance: Lead and inspire the creative process, offering clear guidance and expertise on Kat Burki's

brand values, science-backed positioning, and unique voice.

· Adapt Across Mediums: Craft copy for diverse platforms, including websites, emails, retail packaging, video

scripts, advertising, and direct mail.

·    Deliver Excellence: Work independently with a sharp focus on detail and deadlines, thriving in a dynamic and fast-

paced environment.

• Experience: 5 years in digital copywriting, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in luxury and/or

science-driven brands.

• Skillset: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to incorporate complex scientific concepts into

engaging and elevated copy.

• Organization: Strong organizational and time management abilities, with proven success in managing tight
