Role Overview:As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you’ll design and develop DC harnesses for the marine industry, optimizing system architecture and wiring strategies. You’ll work across all phases of new product development and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
What You’ll Do:🔹 Design & develop DC harnesses to enhance marine electrical systems
🔹 Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electric systems
🔹 Lead problem-solving activities, including FMEA co-development
🔹 Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers
🔹 Support boat testing & validation of components
🔹 Maintain BOMs, ECN/ECR processes, and cost management
🔹 Apply DFMA principles for manufacturability
🔹 Travel: Less than 10% annually
What You’ll Bring:✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
✔️ 5 years of experience in electrical systems (marine, automotive, off-road, or powersports industries)
✔️ Expertise in electrical harness fabrication tools & processes
✔️ Strong skills in 2D/3D modeling, GD&T, and Microsoft Office
✔️ Excellent communication & collaboration skills
