Qualifications
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Looking for a hands on MFG Engineer who has Project/Program Management exp.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field.
- Experience in machinery design, continuous improvement, and operational/functional analysis.
- Strong understanding of machine design, fabrication methods, machine assembly, rotating equipment design, and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience in machinery development, modification, troubleshooting, and commissioning in an industrial environment.
- Utilize CAD tools (2D/3D) to design equipment components, layouts, and process flow modifications.
- Lead the design, modification, and implementation of manufacturing equipment to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Develop detailed project work packages, including scope, equipment specifications, cost estimates, vendor selection, and timeline management.
- Manage end-to-end execution of projects, including installation design, execution, commissioning, and post-installation optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and process issues, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors, managing procurement, installation, and integration of new or modified equipment.
- Maintain project documentation, including engineering designs, reports, and risk assessments.
- Travel as needed (approximately 20%, with possible higher travel periods based on project needs).
