Staff Accountant
Katalyst Group is recruiting for a Staff Accountant on behalf of PE backed technology company with HQ in Fulton Market. This role will initially focus on Billing and AP as they get up to speed on core accounting functions. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an quick start. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career candidate with 1-2 years of experience looking for a growth opportunity in a corporate environment.
What you'll do:
- Manage billing setup for customer accounts - both residential and commercial.
- Monitor AR - publishing and reviewing aging reports - to collaborate with sales and account managers to resolve customer billing issues
- Work with accounting team and contribute to month-end close efforts
- Code & process vendor invoices and payments
What you'll bring to the table:
- Degree in Accounting or related course of study is strongly preferred.
- Experience using ERP platforms and billing systems (bonus points for recurring revenue exposure).
- Drive to grow and learn
- Understanding of GAAP
- Strong communication and attention to detail
Compensation: $65K - $78K
