Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Katalyst HealthCares and Life Sciences. In this role, you will be responsible for the production of clinical and commercial products, including operating production equipment, weighing and measuring raw materials, and assisting with in-process testing. You will also be responsible for validating processes and equipment, as well as creating solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications.
Responsibilities:
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in laboratory operations, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills. You should also be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and proficient in MS Excel. Additionally, you must be able to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams, and perform basic arithmetic.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment to manufacture clinical and commercial products.
- Weigh and measure raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities.
- Assist with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
- Validate processes and equipment related to filtration, cleaning, and sterilization.
- Create solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications.
- Provide training support for on-boarding and/or new procedures.
- Support the lead/supervisor when necessary.
