Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the medical records team, ensuring accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
Develop and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for the department.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
Supervise medical records staff and provide training and evaluation.
Requirements :
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare information management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Credentialed as Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
Training in post-acute care health information management.
Currently licensed / registered in applicable State.
Maintain active Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) license in good standing throughout employment..
