What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hardware Product Validation Engineer position at Katalyst Healthcares and Life Sciences?
Responsibilities :
Gather and format test requirements from internal and external customers with assistance from others. Review and provide proper feedback about the requirements to stakeholders or cross functional design teams.
Create Hardware Test Plans, with assistance from others, based on product requirements, test standards, and testing best practices.
Perform and oversee, with assistance, the performance of Product Verification and Validation testing performed internally or externally and troubleshooting problems associated with testing.
Maintain accurate and up to documentation of testing results and up to date schedules of current and future testing, communicating results and schedule progress to stakeholders.
Review test results, draw conclusions, and compose technical reports based on findings and results of testing
Requirements :
BSEE or BS Electrical engineering / Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
2-5 years product testing of electronics or product development experience.
2-5 years project management experience.
2-5 years' work experience in a team environment.
2-5 years' experience with data acquisition and validation tools.
Good written and verbal communications skills (English).
Understanding of product development phases.
Skills :
Experience with product testing or design of ruggedized electronics.
Experience working with VC-B1 or VC-B2 voltage levels.
Experience with development and debugging tools (e.g. oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.).
Knowledge of reliability planning for electronic assemblies.
Experience with basic electronics hardware and systems (i.e. Op Amp, FET's, Transistors, A / D converters, serial and parallel interfaces, etc).
Experience in LabVIEW or other NI programming languages.
Experience with communication networks (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, RS-232 / 485, etc).
Experience with communication protocols (e.g. J1939, ISO11783, TCP / IP, etc).
Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited test lab.
