Roles & Responsibilities :
- Experience : Minimum 5 years in plastic injection moulding, ideally within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in polymer engineering or a related field preferred, but extensive experience can substitute for formal education.
- Project management experience or technical SME role in project teams.
- Understanding of process development, procurement, and validation.
- Familiarity with metrology equipment (CMM, conventional methods, CT scan, etc.).
- Ability to oversee and critique suppliers' validation processes.
- Oversee project development from process creation through procurement of parts and equipment.
- Validate processes and provide feedback to suppliers.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and challenge suppliers when necessary.
- Medical device or pharma experience is essential due to regulatory complexities.
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., automotive) may be considered, but medical device expertise is preferred.
