Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS.
- Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents.
- Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damage.
- Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations.
- Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions.
- Assist as required.
- Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- HS DIPLOMA/GED PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED.
- 1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with multiple types of MHE- Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance (slip and
- clamp), and Dock Stocker, preferred.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
- Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
- General distribution knowledge.
- Proficient in the use of a PC.
- Strong initiative and drive for results.
- MHE [Material Handling Equipment] in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
