Job description:
Our client is seeking a Temporary Attorney to join our legal team in support of our Cell & Gene Technologies (CGT) platform. This role provides general legal counsel with a focus on complex commercial agreements, compliance, and day-to-day operational matters for a dynamic, global biotechnology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements including:
- Manufacturing services agreements
- Process development agreements
- Pharmaceutical quality agreements
- Licensing and service-related statements of work
- Advise on transactional, quality, marketing, and operational legal issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the CGT platform.
- Support senior legal leadership, reporting to a Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies.
- Provide high-quality, timely legal guidance on a range of corporate and commercial matters.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and licensed to practice in the U.S.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial transactional/contracting experience from an Am Law 200 law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Background in life sciences or pharmaceuticals strongly preferred
Note: Hybrid—Monday and Wednesday in office in Morristown, NJ.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $59.12 - $62.12 per hour
