Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our culinary operations, supporting both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are returned to their designated places.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and clearing away dirty dishes during peak service times.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a clean working environment.
• Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or damaged items to management.
• Participate in regular cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment and work areas.

Skills

• Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols.
• Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
