Job Summary:
The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project
schedules using critical path methodologies (CPM). You’ll work with various stakeholders,
including preconstruction teams, project managers, superintendents, and contractors, to
plan and schedule activities, milestones, and deliverables from conceptual phases through
engineering and construction. You’ll facilitate development and management of project
baselines, lead schedule update meetings, and oversee pull planning sessions, ensuring
compliance with project schedules and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with preconstruction, project, and construction teams to create detailed
schedules, identifying key activities, milestones, and critical deliverables.
- Develop cost and resource-loaded schedules to track project progress and identify
dependencies.
- Conduct weekly schedule update meetings to ensure accurate project status and timely
inclusion of new information.
- Coordinate with material management and project teams to align material deliveries
with installation timeframes.
- Oversee pull planning sessions, ensuring alignment with baseline schedules.
- Analyze the impact of design changes and schedule delays, keeping leadership informed.
- Provide reports and statistical updates to project teams and leadership as required.
- Travel to project sites and Adams Electric offices to participate in meetings and assess
project status.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects.
- 2 years of direct scheduling experience with proven success in critical path
management.
- 3 years of experience with Primavera P6 CPM scheduling in similar markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling methodologies and current scheduling
concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of construction technology, codes, and standards.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing and resolving project control issues and challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
