Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with company policies and aviation industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze location P&Ls, ensuring profitability and identifying areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Perform audits on quality, safety, supplies, equipment, and staffing.
- Develop and implement operational efficiencies to improve turnaround times and resource utilization.
- Support special projects, follow up on unresolved items, and ensure task completion.
- Integrate and utilize the Traction EOS operating system for daily operational processes.
Staffing and Workforce Management:
- Manage recruitment, training, and retention of on-site personnel to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to location managers to foster professional growth.
- Anticipate staffing needs and implement proactive recruitment measures.
- Develop cross-training programs to enhance team skills and prepare team members for advancement.
- Promote team-building initiatives to develop and motivate staff.
Client Relations and Quality Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, conducting regular check-ins to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Address and resolve quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to meet and exceed client expectations.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all operations comply with regulatory and contractual requirements specific to the aviation industry.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including safety audits, incident reports, and operational metrics.
- Attend and actively participate in daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
- Review payroll for irregularities and hold direct reports accountable for financial performance.
Sales and Revenue Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities, onboard new clients, and expand services.
- Travel to support new sales opportunities and assist ownership in implementing new locations.
Travel Requirements:
- 50%-60% travel to oversee operations, meet with clients, and provide on-site leadership.
- Conduct site walks with teams to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
- MUST have experience in the aviation industry with at least 5-7 years in a management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
Key Skills and Expertise:
- Strong understanding of P&L management, compliance, and quality control processes.
- Proven ability to resolve operational issues and implement scalable solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing and developing distributed teams, particularly in aviation services.
- Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance in the aviation industry.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fluid schedule to meet operational demands.
