- Implement individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare team members regarding care needs and progress.
- Assist in managing medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
- Experience or training in hospice care is preferred.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum.
