Duties

- Assist with medication administration as per care plans and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Conduct vital signs checks and report any significant changes to the supervising healthcare professional.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring that all aspects of care are addressed.
- Offer hospice care and support for clients with terminal illnesses, providing comfort and companionship.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and the ability to recognize changes in client health status.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
