Description
The Floating Security Officer will be responsible for providing coverage for various locations on the Westside and Northside locations in Chicago, IL. The position provides a full-time schedule with opportunities to work overtime. The officer is provided with a set schedule for a majority of their hours, prior to any call-in requests. The floater position requires complete availability and requires the officer to be as flexible as possible.
- 21 years of age
- High School Diploma, GED/Transcripts required
- Unarmed credentials (20-Hour Unarmed Training Certificate & Current PERC required)
- Previous experience as a Security officer is desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on the organizations needs.

- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly, and professionally at all times
- Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
- Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
- Follow all client site specific duties, as required and outlined in post-orders
