Katie's Tire & Auto Service Center in Mount Sterling is accepting applications for an experienced Tire and Automotive Service Store Manager.
This position requires running the daily operations of the store, providing exceptional customer service selling automotive repairs, maintenance, and tires, in addition to employee management.
Qualified applicants must have:
- comprehensive knowledge of automotive repairs and various brands and types of tires and their applications
- excellent people skills for customer service and retention as well as for employee management
- an aptitude for managing work flow, parts ordering and returns, inventory, warranty work, and equipment maintenance
- proficient computer skills and math skills
- the ability to make decisions; review, analyze, and interpret information; and identify and solve problems
- an understanding of profit and loss with the ability to drive, track, and reach sales and profitability goals
- leadership qualities, good communication skills, problem solving skills, and be independently motivated, dependable, organized, and trustworthy
- the ability to recruit qualified technicians and counter staff and participate in interviewing, hiring, and ensuring staff are properly trained
- a minimum of 5 years of automotive management experience
- a valid driver's license at all times with a clean driving record
