Job Summary: Katie's Way is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients with mental health disorders and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment. As a proud supporter of the military, we give preference to active duty members, their dependents, and candidates with prior experience working with the military and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Utilization review
- Expertise in psychopharmacology
- Experience in acute care settings
- Proficiency in medication management for adolescents
- Familiarity with medical records systems
- Behavioral health expertise
- Understanding of family planning services
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols
