Job Description
SUMMARY
Perform all services to accomplish a variety of warehousing duties including receiving, inventorying, stocking, and delivery of materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform manual duties, including packing, unpacking, storing, loading, unloading, and issuing warehouse goods or merchandise, check contents for damage or discrepancies against receiving documents, record date received and serial numbers(s) of new equipment received on applicable delivery documents and route to proper delivery points of contact.
- Affix property labels, provided by the SSB Property Management Specialist, to Government equipment.
- Enter data in the computer to update inventory and provide forms / reports as requested by the SSB Property Management Specialist or Contracting Officer's Representative.
- Deliver excess items to disposal sites.
- Operate forklift / pallet truck and vehicles as required for warehouse operations and delivery of items.
- Keep warehouse clean and stock in order.
- Systems Furniture Assembly / Disassembly Reconfiguration Services :
- Assemble / disassemble / reconfigure system furniture
- Transport furniture and components, as required
- Follow mail schedules and daily operations.

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
The expected travel time is less than 25%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and / or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a warehouse setting as well as outdoors in military training areas. Work is often performed outdoors, in adverse conditions including inclement weather such as high humidity, heat, cold, high wind, rain, and various local conditions. Employee often exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals, lead, and vibration. Katmai strictly adheres to the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA) regulations. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently uses hands / fingers for handling, to work with such hand tools as wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers, and soldering irons.
