Medical Receptionist
Katmai Oncology Group, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. As Alaska’s largest oncology practice, Katmai Oncology Group provides top-tier cancer care with a patient-centered philosophy. We are the only QOPI certified clinic in southcentral Alaska making us the premier choice for cancer treatment in Alaska.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior experience in a medical practice is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the medical office, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems.
- Handle phone inquiries and provide information regarding services and procedures.
- Process patient information while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Support medical staff with clerical tasks and maintain the organization of medical records.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and equipped with necessary supplies.

Pay: $20.45 - $27.50 per hour
