MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Five plus (5 ) years of combined relevant experience in IT systems, software development, curriculum development and/or military manpower management.
- Must be skilled in data and spreadsheet analysis and presentation of information using tools such as PowerPoint and Visio.
- Direct experience in software development lifecycle with implementation experience.
- Experience with business process analysis.
- Experience with interface analyses, troubleshooting and development.
- Understanding of XML and relational database schemas.
- Strong computer skills including business solution software.
- Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Teams.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance (generally, this requires U.S. Citizenship).
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- United States Navy or other military working experience.
- Experience with Liferay DXP or other enterprise portal solutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks and interface documentation (e.g.; DoDAF Systems / Systems and Services viewpoints, interface control documents, requirements specifications, and design descriptions, etc.)
- Familiarity with military HR, career management and training policies and systems.
- A technical degree with experience in Information Technology (IT), software design and development, or an applicable combination of other technical experiences preferred.
- Experience with online CRM, HR management, and learning systems.
- Possess analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Significant troubleshooting experience (in any technical field).
- Experience with SOAP and Restful (JSON) data interfaces.
- Experience with data collection, analysis and metrics reporting.
- Ability to work in a team environment and be able to work independently with little or no supervision, be exceedingly well organized, flexible.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties while operating under time constraints.
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of Agile Development a plus.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
The expected travel time is less than 25%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is expected to be 100% remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Pay is $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
