MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in multi-media, graphic design, instructional design or equivalent.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in creating and modifying graphics and animations.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud products—specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Animate.
- Capable of rendering cutting-edge 2D- and 3D-based graphics and animations.
- Knowledge of 3D-Studio Max or Maya.
- Applicable knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and PHP scripting.
- Ability to operate within the parameters of a Learning Management System (LMS) and understand web based SCORM parameters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (potentially up to a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance) and a Common Assess Card (generally, this requires U.S. Citizenship).
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Knowledge of military training or defense industry standards is preferred.
- Knowledge of the following web-based programming languages is preferred: HTML, HTML5, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and ActionScript.
- Experience working with Navy/DoD preferred.
- Ability to create and adapt to the visual intent of a larger project and have a critical eye.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment, regularly recommending and communicating solutions to non-multimedia trained personnel.
- Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a deadline and budget-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, flexible.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Superior time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and presentation skills.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
Potential for travel. When required, employee will need to complete an MVR check.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office setting, may operate in military training areas. May be exposed to sharp objects, some heat, loud noise, chemicals, and vibration. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE
- Pay range: $93,870.40 per year.
