MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, safety, business administration, quality assurance or information technology.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ten (10) years’ experience in the implementation of contractor assurance systems.
- Demonstrated experience providing coordination/facilitation of high-level meetings.
- Working level experience of the Hanford Site integrated Contractor Assurance System.
- Working level experience of the Price-Anderson Amendments Act (PAAA), DOE’s Enforcement Philosophy, DOE Safety and Security Enforcement Processes and the DOE Noncompliance Tracking System (NTS).
- Working level experience with DOE’s safety and security enforcement rules (i.e., 10 C.F.R. Parts 851, 820, and 824).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Experience in effective implementation of assessment performance, causal analysis and corrective action development and review activities.
- Experience with DOE Order 232.2A, Occurrence Reporting and Processing of Operations Information.
- Experience with the Safeguards and Security Information Management System (SSIMS).
- Familiarity, training and active participation in structured improvement activities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present training and briefing material.
- Demonstrated ability to professionally and effectively interface and interact with external agencies, government officials and senior level managers.
- Ability to work simultaneously and in a collaborative manner at all levels of the DOE and contractor organizational structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
The expected travel time is less than 25%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a hybrid setting. Employee will work remotely and, in an office setting in Richland, WA. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE
- Pay range: $150,000 to $160,000 per year.
