Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both showroom and warehouse spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors to maintain their appearance.
- Conduct thorough custodial duties in both commercial and industrial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Maintain supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning duties, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all cleaning tasks.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests promptly to maintain a clean environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
