Reports To: Driver Personnel Manager
Duty Days: 178 Days ( or - each year)
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: A04

Qualifications:
College hours, high school diploma or GED (preferred)
Must possess minimum standards for certification through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
Minimum of two years of successful administrative experience (preferred)
Demonstrated ability as a daycare supervisor (preferred)
Proven leadership skills
Primary Purpose:
Direct and manage the daycare program at the designated transportation centers. Provide leadership to ensure that the standards set forth by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services are carried out on a daily basis.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Continued communication with state and local regulatory agencies.
- See that center conforms to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Keep records that pertain to the administration of center.
- Plan and implement a program for professional growth.
- Participate in professional organizations.
- Plan a yearly calendar.
- Supervise the management of program schedules.
- Schedule the responsibilities of the childcare staff.
- Maintain a bookkeeping/accounting system for parent payments.
- Help in arranging for substitute help as needed.
- Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings.
- Assist staff in planning individual programs for professional growth and career development.
Working Conditions:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Biological exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling.
