What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Guest Service Agent position at Katy Lake RV Resort?
We are looking for an RV Resort Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rv sites, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hospitality industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and take them to their site or rental unit.
- Provide information about our resort, availability, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure all sites or rentals are clean, tidy and fully prepared to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange them according to their preference
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Skills
- Work experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with reservations software, like RMS, Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
- Impeccable customer service attitude
- Great team player
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
