Medical Front desk Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, directing calls to appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Bilingual is mandatory
Scheduling procedures for office
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or issues
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of medical office systems
- EClinicalWorks is a plus. Must have have 3 to 5 years experience.
- or similar healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical software such as eClinicalWorks is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
