What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative School Based- Versailles and Warsaw position at Katy Trail Community Health?
The school-based patient service representative is a member of a health care team, which includes a provider, a behavioral health consultant, a registered nurse (RN), a licensed practice nurse (LPN), a medical assistant (MA), a Community Health Worker (CHW) that has been assigned a panel of patients. The school based PSR conducts scheduling, registration, and gathering of information for the use of Katy Trail Community Health in collaboration with the school nurse to benefit the patient's visit and appropriately satisfy the patient's financial obligation to the organization. Duties are to be performed in a pleasant, professional, and timely manner while being sensitive to patient needs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to have flexibility with hours (up to two evenings per week and Saturday rotation) to cover front desk activities and at least 40 hours per week during KTCH hours.
• Ability to use and learn appropriate medical software programs.
• The ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule, proof of liability, and property damage insurance on the vehicle used is required.
