Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for delegating and contributing to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the property’s physical assets, as directed by the Sr. Asset Manager. This role ensures that all equipment and systems function efficiently and safely to support operational needs. The Maintenance Technician must communicate with multiple departments daily and prioritize work orders for the needs of the business. They must have a strong ability to adapt to changing needs and execute at a high level.

Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for delegating and contributing to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the property’s physical assets, as directed by the Sr. Asset Manager. This role ensures that all equipment and systems function efficiently and safely to support operational needs. The Maintenance Technician must communicate with multiple departments daily and prioritize work orders for the needs of the business. They must have a strong ability to adapt to changing needs and execute at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure completion of assigned maintenance service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform “as needed” repairs during production as well as scheduled maintenance during equipment downtime.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to accurately perform maintenance and repair tasks.
- Monitor and evaluate work completed by external contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
- Promptly report any unusual incidents, safety concerns, or damage to the Sr. Manager.
- Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal safety standards and regulations.
- Carry out a variety of general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work.
- Utilize appropriate tools, machinery, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and other equipment to complete maintenance duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
- General Contractor experience required
- Experience with electric pallet jack repairs is a plus
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
