Job Details
8 Weeks 30 to 40hrs per week Possibility of 10 weeks tops
Located in the Occupational Therapy Department of Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital (KVMH).
This position also reports to SMMH (Kapaa, HI)
The primary function of this position is to provide occupational therapy at both facilities and therapeutic activities to in-patients, residents and out-patients as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team.
This position works in conjunction with the Physical Therapy dept. in providing LTC activity programs for the residents at both KVMH and SMMH.
This position requires travel to SMMH on a regular basis.
Job Requirements
Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree in occupational therapy from an approved school.
Two (2) years professional experience as an Occupational Therapist under medical supervision.
Must have passed the occupational therapist national certification examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Must be registered with the State of Hawaii as an Occupational Therapist (OT) at the time of appointment.
Unit Specific Information
Works in conjunction with the Physical Therapy department in providing LTC activity programs.
Additional Details
Holiday's - pay is based on hours worked day of : New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.
